Documentary Film

I have also done a lot of work in documentary as a producer, editor, and location sound recordist. My first job out of college was with the legendary documentary production company Kartemquin Films. Since then, my work has been aired on Al Jazeera and featured in The New York Times.

  • ’63 Boycott (2012-2016): A short film and multimedia project about the 1963 Chicago Public School Boycott. I am credited as associate producer and location sound. Directed by Gordon Quinn.

  • Hard Earned (2016): A documentary miniseries about people living on minimum wage. Produced by Al Jazeera America and winner of the 2016 duPont-Columbia University Award. I am credited as a field producer on this series and also served as location sound.

  • Radical Grace (2015): Award-winning documentary about radical nuns produced by Susan Sarandon. I am credited as assistant editor.
